What a night!!! We and ALL of our guests could not have been happier with you and the rest of the band. You guys were amazing and kept the party going non stop all night long. We’ll never forget this incredible night, and your band is a huge part of that. We can’t thank you enough.
Awesome, spectacular, amazing, incredible, and fabulous are only a few of the adjectives used to desribe your orchestra that performed at our daughter’s wedding at the Pierre Hotel.
Harris, we want to thank you for being such an integral part in making Stefani and Andrew’s wedding a night to remember. Having known you for so long and having worked with you and your family for so many years. there was never a question who we wanted as the orchestra at our children’s wedding. But I must tell you that you more than surpassed all our expectations.
We know that you and your band were feeling the love in the room that night because you gave it back to us over and over the entire evening. You created an ambiance of celebration and joy. The music selection, the sound, the boundless energy and enthusiasm were sheer perfection.
It was a most memorable evening, one which we will never forget and the significant reason for that was because of the fine group of musicians and singers. Please convey our deepest gratitude to each and every member of the band.

The eleven piece band that played at our daughter Betsy’s wedding reception at American Yacht Club in Rye, NY on Saturday played absolutely the best dance music and had the best vocals we had ever heard at a wedding, or a party, you name it! Our guests filled the (rather large) dance floor from the time they entered the tent for dinner until the band played its last notes at 11:30. It was absolutely a blast. Many thanks again for helping to make the evening so memorable.
I just got back from my honeymoon, so I haven’t been able to talk to everyone who was at the wedding. But it seems like consensus is that Bobby Attiko (and co.) remains legendary and it was an incredible night. Thanks for everything.
I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for your amazing help during our wedding planning and for recommending such an AMAZING band! Ernest literally rocked the Essex House last saturday-he was so unbelivable, John and I were so thrilled. Ernest had such awesome energy and a connection with the crowd, guests of all ages were blown away by him and his band (the guitarists version of Wonderwall during dinner was show stopping, our guests stopped eating to listen). We have been to many other weddings with Hank Lane and they were all awesome but Ernest was by far the best band. One of our guests even asked us to get Ernest’s wedding schedule for the rest of the year so he could crash those weddings and follow Ernest “on tour”!
We had such high expectations for Hank Lane and you guys blew them away.
I’d like to extend my profound thanks to Ernest’s band for the outstanding evening of music at my daughter’s wedding which took place at Stage 6 in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Ernest and his band entertained our guests with a fine selection of music. In fact, my octogenarian and septuagenarian friends loved the medley as much as the twenty-something year olds! The energy that Ernest and his singers exhibited when they sang and danced amongst the guests smply awed and electrified the crowd. At 1 AM, when the band started to pack up, the crowd was unabashedly begging for just one more song.
My guests and the wedding party have been asking where this band is from. I hope that one day my husband and I will be invited to an event where Ernest and his astounding band from Hank Lane Music will be performing. It is our dream to hear them play again!
Though Katie and Jon’s wedding was over a month ago, we are still buoyed by the love, positive energy, and joy for the newlyweds on that incredible night. I am certain that the Hank Lane band helped to fuel the aura of that magical evening. We are forever grateful to Paul for his recommendation of this marvelous band. To Ernest and his musicians, we proffer many thanks and appreciation. They have given us cherished memories to treasure of our daughter (our only child) and our sweet son-in-law’s wedding.
I hope all is well. The band did an amazing job. It was great working with them and they followed the timeline smoothly. The happy couple and their guests enjoyed the evening! It was a pleasure to work with you and the band. Hopefully, we will work together soon.
Matt and I have returned from our honeymoon and have yet to stop talking about the most incredible night we had on 7/31. Everything was so magical and we just can’t stop smiling! The music made the night and I could not have asked for a better band, or experience, than we had with Hank Lane. Coming from a family with such strong ties in rock n roll, I went into this entire thing planning on having a DJ. But Harlan changed my mind on the spot, and I never looked back! Harlan and Mike, you were so patient and eased my mind up until the week before the big day! When it came to be show time, boy, did you deliver. I apologize for choosing two of the most obscure songs for the ceremony but they sounded so beautiful that they made Matt cry! When it was time for Hey Oh!, Pete, your rendition sent chills down my spine. It was AWESOME! From start to finish you played an incredible set list that kept me, Matt, my mother and 238 guests up and rockin all night. I’ve played it over in my head so many times I could go on and on about every detail (ie – how classy you looked on stage!) but I’ll spare you. Thank you all so much for making everything perfect from start to finish. We will give you a call for our kids’ bar and bat mitzvahs!
We had our wedding on Friday August 6, 2010, and the Ernest Mills Band played for us. They were absolutely amazing. They blew us and all of our guests away. Dave played 2 songs with them on the guitar which the guests loved, and I think the band did too!
Just wanted to drop you a quick note : re my son’s wedding. The band was phenomenal, and we received nothing but great accolades about the band. They played everything requested and kept the guests dancing the whole night-there was never room on the dance floor!
