I’d like to extend my profound thanks to Ernest’s band for the outstanding evening of music at my daughter’s wedding which took place at Stage 6 in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Ernest and his band entertained our guests with a fine selection of music. In fact, my octogenarian and septuagenarian friends loved the medley as much as the twenty-something year olds! The energy that Ernest and his singers exhibited when they sang and danced amongst the guests smply awed and electrified the crowd. At 1 AM, when the band started to pack up, the crowd was unabashedly begging for just one more song.
My guests and the wedding party have been asking where this band is from. I hope that one day my husband and I will be invited to an event where Ernest and his astounding band from Hank Lane Music will be performing. It is our dream to hear them play again!
Though Katie and Jon’s wedding was over a month ago, we are still buoyed by the love, positive energy, and joy for the newlyweds on that incredible night. I am certain that the Hank Lane band helped to fuel the aura of that magical evening. We are forever grateful to Paul for his recommendation of this marvelous band. To Ernest and his musicians, we proffer many thanks and appreciation. They have given us cherished memories to treasure of our daughter (our only child) and our sweet son-in-law’s wedding.

You and your band were AMAZING Friday! Your energy was endless and the choice of music was appropriate for guests of all ages at our wedding. Now almost a week later, our friends and family are still raving about how “awesome the band was”. I’ve lost count of how many people asked about Hank Lane and your band in particular. People (including the groom) that never dance, danced that night–and had fun too! The dance floor was packed the whole night, and even when it came time for the night to end, lots of guests wanted the party to keep going. It is a testament to the fantastic job you did. it was hands down the best party I’ve ever been to, I only wish I was a guest! So many of our friends are now a fan of yours too. I’m hoping we’ll cross paths again at a friend’s future wedding! You truly helped make the night so memorable. We had such a good time, and hope you did too! Thanks again.
The honeymoon is over but the thrill and perfection of the wedding will continue to resonate over a lifetime.
Pete Saunders and his band were at Stage 6 Steiner Studios for the wedding of Jesse and Lacee. The band was given requests from the Texas Two Step to Guy Lombardo’s Enjoy Yourself…It’s Later Than You Think…and they did it all! They were absolutely amazing. The saxophonist from Texas was absolutely charming. The vocalists were so talented.The music of Pete Saunders made the evening magical and memorable for everyone there- and the praise from the guests just keeps coming! We are so pleased and cannot thank you enough for your wisdom in recommending Pete Saunders to us.
Just as an aside, one of our guests happened to be the son of the founder of the Steve Scott Orchestra, and he was so impressed with Pete Saunders!
I would like to thank you on behalf of my son and daughter-in-law Raeleen and Shane. They had the Corey Simmon Band at their wedding and what an excellent choice they were! Incredibly accomodating with a wide range of music that was appropriate for all age groups at our party, they were truly fantastic. It was such a magical night and much of that is owed to the band so please foward our appreciation. Even my grandson said, “When I grow up, I want to sing with that band”. We’ll send him your way when he’s more age appropriate. In the meantime, well done!
Wow! What can we say…you guys are OUTSTANDING! Our wedding was unbelievable, simply put, the best party ever! Jim, you are so enthusiastic and professional and we greatly appreciated all the work you put in to make sure our dance floor was packed. We hope to see you soon at future weddings so we can enjoy you and the band again!
Hope you had a great summer. Sorry I didn’t get to catch you before we left for our honeymoon everything was so crazy. Now that we are back we wanted to thank you for the terrific job you and Ryan did. He was absolutely phenomenal! He was spot on with my guests the entire night, played a great mix of music and kept the energy high.
He was the best DJ I’ve ever heard. Please pass this thank you onto Ryan and let him know we’ll keep him in mind for future events.
We really can’t thank you guys enough. The wedding was everything we dreamed for and more. You kept the dance floor packed all night. Actually many of our guests left the wedding with pieces of clothing carried out on their backs. I’m still getting phone calls from friends and family about how great the band was.
I will for sure be recommending you and Hank Lane Music to friends in the future getting married.
