We are writing to thank you and the Russ Bennett Band for a fantastic performance at our wedding on October 2nd. From the moment Russ came up to us to introduce himself, he put us at ease. The band did such a wonderful job on the songs we requested, and went above and beyond in creating a special song written for me by my grandmother. Although given only one page of sheet music, they were able to transform a childhood memory into a very poignant and touching moment in the wedding that we will never forget.
The guests, including several musicians, raved about the Russ Bennett Band. They were able to keep the dance floor full all night, which was what we wanted. We appreciate the professionalism and extra effort to make our wedding truly special.
I wanted to say thank you so much for Russ. His band was so wonderful. They did a perfect job. They were conscientious to the party and Russ responded well to all our needs. I received so many compliments on the band and how excellent they were. Many guests came up and told me how much they enjoyed them – how talented the singers were, how much they loved the harp, how much they enjoyed the songs they played, and how well they were able to play their instruments – and how well they directed the crowd. I was so glad that they were able to balance the music and figure out what worked well with for everyone. There were a a fair amount of young people there – my friends and cousins, and Philip’s nieces and nephews – but also some older people (and only 74 people total) – Philip’s friends and colleagues and my parents’ friends. I was just so very happy and so very impressed with Russ and the way he was calm and handled everything and how talented the band was.
I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you how great Russ Bennett and his band were at my wedding on Nov. 12 . I’m sending Russ separately a thank you note, but wanted you to know they were fantastic and I’m still getting comments on how great the band was. He was super accommodating and attentive, so thank you for setting me up with him – you told me it was the perfect band for me, and you were right! Thanks again!
I hope you’re doing well! Just wanted to send a note to say a major THANK YOU for the amazing band performance at our wedding. I don’t have an email for Russ and the band, so please let them know how grateful we are!!! The music was seriously awesome and we couldn’t have asked for more. Our guests had such an awesome time, and everyone was telling us how great the music performance was. Russ was really attentive to us and everyone was so professional. It was just perfect. I only wish we could have had 4 more hours of dancing!!

Just wanted to drop you a quick line and thank you for your help. Our wedding was fantastic. Russ was great and everyone had an amazing time. Today at our brunch everyone could not stop talking about how great the band was and they never have been to a wedding where EVERYONE was dancing the whole night. We will definitely be recommending Russ to others and thank you for setting us up with them.

Hope you had a nice weekend. Wanted to say thanks so much for all your help this past year. Our wedding was a blast and everything went super smooth.
And a BIG thanks for hooking us up and recommending Russ. I’ll be honest when I say that I didn’t know what to expect from them as I never saw them live. We couldn’t have been happier with the entire band. Russ was super helpful, extremely patient, and honestly just rocked the hell out of our party. Maybe I’m being biased, but I don’t recall ever being to a wedding where there was just non-stop dancing. They took all of our requests, let a few people sing, each musician and vocalist was 100% perfect. The party entrance was EXACTLY what I wanted…and I was very specific (and probably annoying) with my request. I honestly couldn’t have been happier and asked for a better band. Everyone else is raving about them as well.
Thanks again and we’ll be sure to recommend Hank Lane and Russ Bennett Band to future Brides and Grooms.
I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for setting everything up for our wedding with the Russ Bennett Band. I can’t tell you how many guests came up to us at the wedding and made a point of mentioning how amazing the band was. They even played some of our eclectic requests–and did an amazing job of it! Andy and his best man were particularly appreciative of their rendition of the Allman Brothers’ Blue Sky. Please forgive the delayed response, but I wanted to take a moment to mention how fabulous I thought the Russ Bennett Band was at my wedding on February 19, 2011 in Scranton PA. Lindsay Landman worked to connect us with Ian and the band and to say we were satisfied is an understatement. Their performance was terrific and all of my guests continue to say how amazing they were. I particularly liked that Russ checked in with me regularly to make sure they were in line with what we wanted. Which they were. They read the crowd perfectly.
If anyone asks, I’m happy to talk to engaged couples about how great they were.
We would like to thank you for matching our particular interests with the Russ Bennett Band when we met many months ago. They (the band) were, simply put, phenomenal. They surpassed all expectations of not just Jill and myself but all guests in attendance. Every person we’ve spoken with after the wedding has commented on how much they enjoyed the music, the professionalism and atmosphere the band created at the reception. The band did a great job mixing and matching different styles and eras of songs so as to keep people on the dance floor the entire night. Russ did a fantastic job engaging the audience with the playlist as well as checking in with Jill and myself to make sure we were happy with everything multiple times throughout the evening. The band was so good my parents were getting worried about my 86 year old great aunt because she was dancing to every song and they hadn’t seen her that active in years.
We can’t thank you or the band enough for making our wedding so memorable.
