Dear Kim,
In July, my daughter, Jennifer, married Pierce at the New York Botanical Garden, and celebrated to the accompaniment of the Mike Hart Band. During our first meeting at Hank Lane Music, you somehow intuited from our limited input that Mike Hart’s band was the one for us. You were so right. We loved the Mike Hart Band!
From the first beat of the music to the last, people were on the dance floor. Everyone raved about the music. Guests later told me that they did not want to leave the dance floor, even to eat Abigail Kirsch’s amazing food! it was evident that every member of that band loves performing and lives for their music. Please share our rave review with the musicians, and let Mike Hart know that we all thoroughly enjoyed his keyboard accompaniment of the cocktail hour as well.
We cannot thank you enough for bringing us all together for a magical, fairy-tale night. We owe much of that magic to the highly professional Mike Hart musicians, and thank you Kim, for understanding us so perfectly.
Better late than never, but thank you so much for pointing us in the direction of Rhythm Nights for our wedding. To say they “rocked” would be an understatement. We literally were fielding phone calls for 2 weeks after the wedding asking who our band was-we of course told them Hank Lane, but that we were not sure if our band was available to everyone. Let’s just say people were disappointed to know they wouldn’t necessarily see them around. As we talked about the band and the food really make the wedding and Rhythm Nights/Hank Lane came through on their end of the bargain.
I know not all clients are “easy” to work with and my family and I may fall into that catagory, but we truly appeciate the attention to detail and attention to what mattered to us and how you relayed that to the band. It was a perfect evening for so many reasons!
Adam and I thank you a million times over and please let us know if you would like us to write a testimonial or act as a reference we would be happy to! We thought you would appreciate seeing my dad conducting the band in Sam Cooke’s “Never Make an Ugly Woman Your Wife”.
Just had to write and say the our DJ was WONDERFUL! He played all our requests and everyone kept telling us how great he was. He got them dancing — I can’t say more than that but would be more than happy to recommend him if you ever need me to. Please pass them along to him and thanks so much for all of your help. I know I kept making changes!
I am writing to let you know how happy we were with the Russ Bennett Band at our wedding at the New York Botanical Gardens. Russ and his band did a truly fabulous job and they are extemely talented. We got so many compliments on the band and the music. We were really blown away by them and particularly loved their rendition of Paul Simon’s Father and Daughter. Further, Russ was so great to work with that night and checked in with us continually to keep us updated on the flow of events and to ensure that we were happy with how things were going. His professionalism made us so comfortable and allowed us to truly enjoy the evening. Thank you to you for your assistance, and of course to Russ and the band as well.
We recall in our meeting with you disussing how every couple places a huge amount of trust in their music choice; as you know, for us it was the most important aspect of our wedding. Our ultimate goal was for all of our guests to completely enjoy themselves. I know I personally reinterated to you several times that I wanted everyone to leave our wedding saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
So it is with complete happiness and appreciation that we tell you Corey Simmons Band ROCKED our wedding!! We cannot even articulate our thoughts more eloqently than that. I mean, even my 80 year old grandfather got on the dance floor! It was truly so special for all of us! We are still smiling just thinking about the entire evening. Thank you for introducing Nunzio and I to such an incredible group and to them for helping to create amazing memories for us that will last our lifetime.
Thank you so much for all of your help planning our wedding. Jim Neale Band was amazing! We know we weren’t the easiest of clients to work with and are purposely saying this so your future clients know that the time you took to go over everything with us and examine what we needed musically was not in vain. You nailed it with your recommendation and Jim Neale Band nailed it with their performance. They are truly incredible at what they do and our wedding would not have been the same without them there so thank you again!
Bleecker Street Band made my wedding so beyond special!! I can’t thank you guys enough!! It was perfect!! They played everything we could have wanted. Our grandparents and friends were dancing all night!! Tough crowd usually too. It was awesome!!
Jason and I just wanted to send you a brief note to thank you for making our wedding day so special. Everyone was blown away by the music and the performance. I have one word to describe the Bobby Attiko Band from our August 2nd wedding– INCREDIBLE!!!!!
Words can’t describe how amazing the band was and how dynamic Bobby is as a band leader, an artist and a performer. All the singers’ voices are incredible as well and the really work great as a team. I received countless compliments all night and phone calls the past few days on “how amazing this band is” and “this band is the best band I’ve ever heard!” Bobby was just amazing with his awesome dance moves on the dance floor and his energy. He worked the crowd! No one wanted to leave! The song selection was perfect- a mix of current top 40, rock, slow songs, a few 70’s for the parents, and all over dance music. The crowd went wild when the band played “I got a feeling” from the Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga, Rhianna and Beyonce. It floored everyone! Our dance floor was packed the whol entire night– from the time they opened the ballroom doors to the last song! All ages were up there and no one sat down! The band made our wedding the phenominal event it was! People are still talking and raving about Bobby and the band.
I am not being biased because it was my wedding, but I really feel that Bobby’s band is THE top band out there! And coming from (a type A event planner who is extremely picky), that is a huge compliment . I have soem great photos of the band and Bobby I am going to send.
Thank you both for everything the past few months. Ian, you’ve been fabulous! Bobby, you are outstanding at your career and are truly a shining star in the industry. I look forward to working with you both again!
