We wanted to thank you again for your help selecting the Michael Hart Band. They were by far the hit of our wedding and people are still calling us 3 weeks later to tell us we had the best band they have ever heard. They were unbelievably amazing and we will be sure to recommend them (and you) to our friends who have weddings to plan. We are so excited to see them in June at Taryn’s wedding, we cannot wait. Please pass along our gratitude to Michael Hart. We hope they had fun at our wedding as well.
Dear Kim,
In July, my daughter, Jennifer, married Pierce at the New York Botanical Garden, and celebrated to the accompaniment of the Mike Hart Band. During our first meeting at Hank Lane Music, you somehow intuited from our limited input that Mike Hart’s band was the one for us. You were so right. We loved the Mike Hart Band!
From the first beat of the music to the last, people were on the dance floor. Everyone raved about the music. Guests later told me that they did not want to leave the dance floor, even to eat Abigail Kirsch’s amazing food! it was evident that every member of that band loves performing and lives for their music. Please share our rave review with the musicians, and let Mike Hart know that we all thoroughly enjoyed his keyboard accompaniment of the cocktail hour as well.
We cannot thank you enough for bringing us all together for a magical, fairy-tale night. We owe much of that magic to the highly professional Mike Hart musicians, and thank you Kim, for understanding us so perfectly.
We can’t even begin to express to all of you how thrilled we are by
the amazing job that you did at our wedding! Every single guest has
told us that you were the best band they have ever heard at a wedding
and we know that it’s true. The talent, experience, song selection and
variety, and the unbelievable energy that you brought are
unprecedented. My dad has best described the event as a black tie frat
party at a live concert. We only wish that we had a recording of the
band’s performance from the entire night that we could listen to again
and again.
Thank you thank you thank you for making June 12 the time of our lives!
My apologies for not seeing you before leaving Jamie and Chris’s wedding but
I was caught up in the moment with out of town guests, busses etc.
Thank you and your band and singers for being a big part of providing a
“kick ass” party for Jamie and Chris and our guests. It was a super time.
Feel free to have anyone reach out to us for our views or if there is any
other way to be helpful, please let me know.
Words cannot even describe how fantastic you guys were at our wedding. First of all we had the best time. Our goal was to have a band that everyone talked about after the wedding was over–and we suceeded. EVERYONE could not stop talking about how great you were -of all ages. “Love of a Lifetime” was AMAZING. Even my dad’s friend’s were calling me over, “What was that song you guys danced to–I loved it!!” Little did they know it was an 80’s hair band jam. You also knocked Huey Lewis out of the ballpark (To use my dad’s phrase that he used describing your Billy Joel). (You pretty much knocked it ALL out of the ballpark) People were soooo sooo impressed with you all and the range of music that was played from the 70’s to the present! You had to me to give you the top 5 must plays and not to be disappointed if you didn’t get to the rest–and I am sure you played 75% of our Love it/Like it ridiculous song list that I typed up. I can’t really get over how much you met then exceeded my expectations. you all were amazing!! Thank you for making our wedding PERFECT. It was soooo much fun! I am an official MHB groupie.
I really do not even know where to begin. Thank-you does not seem to appropriately express my gratitude towards all that you and your band did on Sunday. We are still getting calls about how amazing you guys were. You truly made the party!! Brandon and I had the best time ever and I believe a BIG part of that was due to what you guys did. I am sure you were all tired from your big night Sat night but you put on quite a show and made us feel really important and special.
Brandon cannot believe how you guys played all of his favorite songs including Better Man which is his ring tone. I think our taste in music might have been slightly different than most bride ang grooms and my parents were hesitant how that would work at a wedding but it did and it gave people something to talk about and remember forever!!! I really appreciate the way you worked with us in guiding us and listening to the type of music we like and delivering. It gave it that personal touch compared to all the usual songs that are typically heard at a wedding.
I also appreciate how you allowed Brandon and his friend to play with you guys. That was definitely one of the highlights of the day for me and one we will never ever forget. The whole party loved it!!! I cannot wait to see the video of that along with the whole wedding. Brandon and I were talking about how we felt like we were at a concert and were mesmerized by you guys. I forgot all about my broken ankle and was a dancing machine (which is a lot considering I cannot dance).
You are all so talented and I wish you all the best. I look forward to hearing your name and all the other big celebrity parties that you will do in the future so I can brag that you played my wedding as well!
I know my sister who was not so keen on the idea of having a big wedding and all that now has changed her mind as long as she can have you guys.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for everything and for making my dream wedding a reality. You are all incredible!!
Hi Michael, We just wanted to say THANK YOU for a wonderful wedding! You and your band truly made our whole night amazing and one of a kind. We have received tons of compliments on the band and everyone has expressed how much fun they had! Your professionalism and talent helped make our wedding unforgettable. Thank you so much! Best, Karina & Jeff
