Dear Kim and Mike,
I wanted to let you know that the band was excellent at the AFTAM Gala on Thursday night. Our itinerary kept changing unexpectedly and your band was so reliable and easy to wrok with when we threw them more and more than one curve ball.
Our pianist was running quite late and your keyboardist was going to step in at the very last minute if we needed him to, which was the first “save” of the night. it was hectic few minutes and your keyboardist was more than willing to go along with this sudden change. In the end, our pianist showed up, but it was comforting to know we had a solid, if unplanned, backup with your keyboardist (I wish I knew his name!).
Later, during dinner, through some miscommunication, our pianist left. Again, we called upon your keyboardist/knight-in-shining-armor. We ran downstairs, rushed him upstairs, and he played beautifully for the few minutes we needed him to. He might not have thought much of it, but I did and do.
Saying thank you doesn’t seem quite sufficient, but I don’t know what else to say. Thank you most sincerely to the most accomodating professional wonderful people to work with that evening.
All the best,
Leigh
