The Madison Avenue Band was fabulous. As you know, we have professional or trained musicians among family and friends (including the groom), so the quality and energy of the band was important. The Madison Avenue Band exceeded our expectations, kept everyone on the dance floor and helped make the wedding a tremendous success. We also had a muti-cultural crowd. From the Hora at the beginning, to the spirited but quality sound during the middle, to the hip hop at the end, they were perfect. What was unexpected was that most of the band members could sing and took turns. Please let the band know how pleased we were and we will be sure to refer Hank Lane and Madison Avenue to the many people we know.

“The rest of the evening flowed perfectly with emotional filled parent dances and guests dancing the night away. At one point the groom even did a flip on the dance floor to the amazement of all.”
“Weddings like Susie and Colin’s are the kind you never forget. We can’t always count on ideal weather, but their ability to go with the flow, and make the most of what comes their way are what makes everyone who attended feeling the love, warmth, and spirit of the day.”

How can we thank you enough for Madison Avenue? We have been getting so many calls and people kept coming up to us all night to tell us how wonderful they thought the band was. My mom ( not a huge fan of modern music ) was so impressed and kept telling me so! They really captured everything we wanted and I (we) just wanted to let you know. If you ever need a recommendation we would love to be a reference.

Lori, Michael, and Michael –
Thanks to you and the Madison Avenue Band for an amazing wedding! Madison Avenue truly rocked Long Beach’s Allegria Hotel July 17th! Our wedding was outstanding because of the band. The band leader, female singers, and others were great!!!!! Everyone was dancing and our parents received so many phone calls when we were on our honeymoon….all complementing the band. The calls still continue at our new house…so many friends are asking about the them.
It was a pleasure to work with you throughout our engagement! Feel free to pass on our names and numbers to future couples interested in Madison Avenue. We will gladly speak to anyone about how great our wedding was because of Madison Avenue.

Dear Mike and Vicki,
A few months have passed since our wedding at The Yale Club and the time has given us a chance to reflect on the wonderful day. It was everything we could have hoped for: a meaningful ceremony followed by the most joyous celebration with our close family and friends.
We have always felt that at the center of any celebration is good food and great music. Our joy on the day was certainly matched and heightened by the stellar performance of The Madison Avenue Band, and we wanted to write you this email to tell you how we were so impressed by them!
During the ceremony, the classical guitarist led our bridal party down the aisle, and the music Hank Lane helped us choose for this moment truly added to the sanctity of the occasion. There were a lot of logistics to work out, but everything happened flawlessly.
We can’t say enough about the music during the reception! We were on the floor all night long! And many of our guests came up to us telling us that ours was the best wedding they had ever attended, because the band was just so fantastic. From a behind-the-scenes perspective, we immediately felt comfortable with the band leader who checked in with us during the night. He very much wanted us to be happy, and we knew he was there if we needed him, though he was never intrusive. Furthermore, because we wanted to incorporate Scottish music and traditions into the reception, the band had to learn some new tunes and help to orchestrate a few traditional Scottish dances. They certainly delivered a perfect rendition of a Scottish jig and our guests loved it!
Perhaps the most telling anecdote to illustrate just how amazing the band was, involves the groom’s father, a man who prides himself on the fact that he never dances at any sort of function. In fact, he did not even dance at his own wedding. Notorious for being a wall-flower, even the groom’s father could not resist the tunes and the energy of The Madison Avenue Band. He was up on the dance floor all night long! The day after the wedding, he asked all who had witnessed his dancing to promise to not spread the word to his friends back in Scotland, as he had a reputation to uphold! But even he could not resist dancing along with all the other guests as The Madison Avenue Band played the night away!
We are so grateful for all The Madison Avenue Band did to make our wedding so full of life, energy, joy and celebration. We can’t thank them enough! Our only wish now is that we are fortunate enough to be invited to another wedding where they are playing, so we can once again enjoy an unforgettable evening.
Please extend our thanks to them and all those at Hank Lane, (including the two of you!) who contributed to bringing wonderful music to our wedding day!
All our best,
Amy and Ashley

Dear Madison Avenue Band,
Just a note to thank you for the beautiful music for our 50th anniversary celebration at Oheka Castle. It was just what we had planned, and we also thank you for the accompaniment with my son’s and my songs for which were unrehearsed!
With much appreciation,
Lorna and Bob

Dear Hank Lane,
We are writing this letter to express our sincerest gratitude for all of your help in planning our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
The Madison Avenue Band was absolutely wonderful. All of our guests are still calling us with their glowing reviews. Everything was just perfect! A friend of ours who works in the catering business told us that the Madison Avenue Band was the best she had ever heard. Their ability to go between pop, fun, latin and rock was fantastic! We cannot say enough positive things about them.
Thank you for taking the time to help us choose the right band and for everything else.
Liz and Ben
