Hank Lane Reviews: Harris Lane Band at the Pierre Hotel at Stacey and Steven’s Wedding

Monday, October 17th, 2011

Dear Harris,

We can’t thank you enough for helping to make our wedding the best night of our lives! You and your entire band brought energy, soul, and wonderful music into the room. You helped us all forget about the hurricane outside and enjoy the party inside! Everyone keeps talking about you and your highly talented band. We think that the request for one more song at the end truly sums up how much you were appreciated and enjoyed! We hope to be able to work with you in the future again.

Warm regards,

Stacey & Steven

Guests included Julie Nixon Eisenhower,  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Senator Chuck Schumer, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, former New York State Governor George Pataki, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, and former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell. Monday, December 27th, 2010

Harris,

Just wanted to send a quick thank you for the most unbelievable wedding this past Saturday night.  We had an incredible time, and we can’t thank you enough.  I can’t even tell you how many compliments we got about you guys – our guests were raving about the music.  We have never before seen at 1am at a wedding, everyone standing around (adults included) wanting to stay and dance more!
It was a perfect night, and your band was a huge part of that.  Thank you so much again and we are looking forward to seeing you at many more events in the future!!

Harris,

What can I say?  People kept coming up to us and saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to.  The truth is that as beautiful as the room was, without the band the party would have been a dud.  You were fantastic.  People asked us if we had a “no play” list and we said “no”. we were leaving it to you and we weren’t wrong.

We really appreciated your doing our music for the ceremony, I know that took extra work and it showed.  It was beautiful –and the violins did not drown out the flute!  A special thanks to the flautist who I believe we met at your office.

Initially I felt that I was pushed into “Harris” and had a bit of sticker shock, but I am so glad that I bit the bullet as we went forward and Saturday night was worth every penny.

Thank you,

Bob

Hank Lane Band Reviews: Harris Lane Band, Stefanie & David’s Wedding – October 10, 2010,The Plaza Hotel, NY.

Monday, December 27th, 2010

Harris,

Proper thank you to follow, but we wanted to let you know how very happy we were last night.  You guys rocked it for hours on end.  People are raving.  Most importantly, however, you made me never want to leave the dance floor – I had so much fun.

You are a true professional and we are grateful for your participation in making our wedding such a memorable evening not only for us, but for our guests.

Warmly,

Stefanie

And from the mother of the bride….

Hi Harris:

I would have called you but my phone doesn’t stop ringing and I can’t talk anymore!!!  You and your band were major hits at Stefanie’s and David’s wedding last weekend.  EVERYONE who was there had glowing things to say.  The only complaint we have is that our feet hurt from dancing!  Stefanie had the best time of all.  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. We may have to crash your next gig as the family (including the man, the myth, the legend) are now your devoted groupies.  Until we meet again….

Sincerely,

Roberta

Harris Lane Band Review: Julie and Richard’s Wedding at The Pierre, NY.

Monday, November 1st, 2010

Dear Harris,

I would be lying if I said the first words out of everyone’s mouth were : “What music!” However, the truth is, the comments were more along the line: “The bride looked like a fairy princess, you were a dream, BUT, Harris Lane was off the charts!!” And, yes, no one was walking well on Sunday or Monday–all thanks to you. The Harris Lane Band far outreached all expectations and I can confidently say that you will be quite the “go-to” name when their friends all fall in line with their own galas!!

Whoever said “the music makes the party” hit the nail on the head, and Richard and I would simply like to say thank you, thank you for being our hammer! It was the best party we ever attended!

Warmest wishes,

Julie and Richard

P.S. A special thank you for “Summer Rain”!!

Dear Harris,

Awesome, spectacular, amazing, incredible, and fabulous are only a few of the adjectives used to desribe your orchestra that performed at our daughter’s wedding at the Pierre Hotel.

Harris, we want to thank you for being such an integral part in making Stefani and Andrew’s wedding a night to remember. Having known you for so long and having worked with you and your family for so many years. there was never a question who we wanted as the orchestra at our children’s wedding. But I must tell you that you more than surpassed all our expectations.

We know that you and your band were feeling the love in the room that night because you gave it back to us over and over the entire evening. You created an ambiance of celebration and joy. The music selection, the sound, the boundless energy and enthusiasm were sheer perfection.

It was a most memorable evening, one which we will never forget and the significant reason for that was because of the fine group of musicians and singers. Please convey our deepest gratitude to each and every member of the band.

We thank you for your talent and most of all, your friendship.

With much appreciation,

Judi and Andy
