While the easy answer is as soon as possible, the practical answer is that for social parties such as weddings in the prime spring and fall season, 8-14 months is customary. For corporate or charitable events that are mid-week, 3-6 months is desirable. Last minute bookings are no problem, either.

Bands that are independent sale proprietors often do not carry the requisite public liability insurance necessary to perform in both public and privately owned venues. One million dollars in public liability insurance is the standard policy and we are fully insured.
One of the biggest complaints about live music concerns the level of sound volume. Often times when discussing this sensitive topic, we can suggest ways to avoid complaints. For example, we may suggest using "surround sound" in a challenging setting, such as a museum or tent.
